I definately agree with you....Who are they to tell us who to associate with and who not to. ???? They think they are Jesus....no doubt about it...

by KW13 ini just want to get these thoughts out of my head and somewhere else so i can read them and make sense of them.
what's on my mind is how most jw's are genuinely wanting to serve their god.
that i think for your average jw is a fact though sometimes we all know they do unkind or stupid things (like humans do).

like auld soul, i am also very interested in how a bible-believer comes to the conclusion that we are living in the end times now.
i'm not questioning the bible here, but the observations that make a modern reader come to this conclusion.. and secondary to that, like auld soul, i would like to understand how believing the end times are imminent change a christian's behavior, if at all.. star moore:.

Jgnat, and company, I'm not thinking Armaggeddon is anything like what the media portrays it to be. Like the Bruce Willis movie Armaggedon..a meteor hitting the earth or WWIII ...But just the lamb fighting the governments....Like...Ps.1:2..."The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one." Not a destruction of bodies..like the witnesses portray. Who is brownboy?

Ahh, Auld Soul you make me feel wanted and respected a little. After D'Aing in November... after 26 years as a witness.. I thank you...
I don't really feel like it's my place to say, but can I just give you some scriptures of what he'd be like. ?
1. He's called son of man...not of God
2. His quest "to break kings to pieces, to execute judgement among nations, to break to pieces the head one over a populous land" How can a spirit man execute judgement?
3. Rev.16:14 Jesus will battle with the kings of the earth @ Armaggedon. How can a spirit man battle?
4. Is. 11 "He must strike the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the spirit of his lips he will put the wicked one to death."
How can a spirit talk for all to hear?
5. Man in linen in Is. 9 is separating people with a secretaries ink horn at his hips.. Again a man...and with a writing tool...Couldn't he be this man? What he does, separates people....like in Math. 25 "separating the sheep from the goats."
6. Jer. 4:5 Jesus will appear as a signal to the nations, one that people would rally around. "Heart of kings perish and heart of princes, priests driven to astonishment."
7. He'd come in a cloud, like a thief in the night. His identity would be obscured. He would be not detected by most. What's he stealing..? Kingship?
8. Math 24:27.."For just as the lightning comes out of eastern parts and shines over to western parts, so the presence of the Son of man will be." So his affect would be felt worldwide. 9. Dan. 12:1...."Michael the great prince is standing in behalf of his people" So he stands up for his people.These are a few of my thoughts. thanks for letting me post them..

in the last few years he's successfully faded with his immediate family.
however his mother who was never "strong in the truth" is still a "believer".

I understand what you are saying....the thing about the WT...they are very bible literate and have more accurate knowledge that the other religions...but like the pharisee and scribes. 'they have made the word of God invalid because of their traditions.;' They lost the love, . They are all like drones following an organization instead of God and Jesus.. Very SAD really....

0kay, so I know this will sound very strange to you all....But I think the time of the end started around 9/11. Also I have recognized a warrior, judge who is battling the governments and high officials whom I believe is the "son of man in a cloud" or with his identity obscurred. Yes, don't laugh, I think "Michael, is standing up on behalf of his people"..Dan. 12:1. "The daystar has risen in my heart" IIPet. 1:19 And that he is a HUMAN....I've been afraid to say it..but here it is. And he is to me, more wonderful that any human could be.

Hello there...JGNAT... I think we are in the end because of prophesies in Rev., Dan., Ezek. and others... I think the prophesies are all unfolding. Not according to the WT's definition, not according to the 1914 thang..but according to the %$#%#$@% we have for a president. And other things too. Call me dumb but even though I have completely D'A'd from the WT, I still believe in the bible and God..and Jesus...
